Librarians have stood up to the Patriot Act, sat down with noisy toddlers and reached out to illiterate adults. Libraries can never be shushed.
My name is Christina, and this website is a compilation of coursework, professional projects and personal activities completed while in the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University and over the course of my career in libraries. This website will provide you with an overview of the quality of work you can expect, and the innovative ideas I have been involved with implementing. I have been working in libraries for a decade, and have been lucky enough to see how libraries have adapted to the way information is disseminated and evolved beyond the “brick and mortar” model of service.
Currently, I have stepped outside of the library community and work for a medical school. In this position, I have the opportunity to integrate emerging medical technologies into the School of Medicine curriculum and provide technical support to students and faculty within the community.
